How did you end up as a designer?
I don't see myself as an artist or a designer. But a mere observer.
What is important to you?
Family is one of the important pillars in my life. They raise you, feed you, and guide you. They teach you how to love, to respect, to care for each other and to share with one another.
What inspires your designs?
I love travelling and am always intrigued by nature and architecture. By beautiful colours & patterns from cultures around the world. From deep rooted heritage to contemporary city vibes. Everything is an inspiration.
Live, and travel. To discover, to experience, and to learn. With respect, and to appreciate. To curate and create.
“Family is one of the important pillars in my life.”
Why do you want to be a designer?
Simply sharing the love and the wonderful colours of the world with people.
Do you have any favourite designs? Why?
I don't particularly have a favourite design as each design is unique and it strikes a different chord in my heart with each one.
Although I would say that I am very enthusiastic to share the "Life through a Kaleidoscope" series. As a kid, I fondly remember being mesmerized by the wonderful colours & patterns of a kaleidoscope. How it could make you smile just by peering through it, and how the slightest change can alter what it was once before. Till today, it still mesmerizes me with its wonders & life lessons.
How has that influenced your design?
If you start questioning, you discover new things. These new things, be it colours, thoughts or forms are translated into my designs. Life is strange, and there are stranger things to be discovered.
